Hopper Haven is home to many rabbits and guinea pigs who due to either their health, their behaviour or their age are not available for rehoming. These animals need veterinary treatment and of course feed and bedding. To help the rescue meet these costs some of the special needs animals are available for sponsorship. Sponsored animals can be visited during our opening hours on Saturdays.

If you would like to sponsor one or a group of our special needs animals you can fill in a sponsorship form and set up a standing order with your bank to contribute directly to the cost of their care. We estimate that it costs on average £15 a month for us to care for each special needs resident, but you can contribute as much or as little as you can afford. A resident may have more than one sponsor to meet their full costs.
