Hopper Haven is both a sanctuary and a rehoming centre. Healthy, friendly animals are found suitable new homes, while any that have special needs have a home here for life. Those that remain here often have chronic medical conditions that need regular treatment. In order to provide this treatment we need funds, which is where sponsorship comes in. If you are able to sponsor an animal it helps to pay both for their treatment and for their feed and bedding. In return you can visit the animal any Saturday during our opening hours (1-3pm). The level of contact with the animal depends on their nature. Some rabbits are not very keen on human interaction, others will climb all over any one entering their area. You would be welcome to bring healthy treats for your own special friend. (Dandelions are always a favourite.)

We have plans for regular photos and newsletters to keep you informed about your sponsor animal, and for certificates to make gift sponsorship an option.

Sponsoring can be ideal if you would like an animal but do not have the room or time necessary.

Sponsorship is most convenient via standing order. Any amount is appreciated and will be put to good use. To sponsor please fill in our form, return it to us, and give the standing order to your bank or use online banking to set it up. If preferred you could sponsor by cheque.
